Salary Information

Our salary range for this position is estimated to be between $65,000 - $85,000 annually, based on industry standards and location.

Job Description

We are seeking registered mental health professionals interested in providing service on an occasional, contract basis for our Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) in London or St. Thomas, Ontario offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide short-term, highly focused, solution-oriented counseling to address various concerns such as depression, anxiety, interpersonal skills, workplace challenges, relationship issues, stress management, and addictions.
  • Able to work with adult individuals, couples, families, and children.
  • Provide telephonic counseling for clients in crisis.
  • Adhere to professional standards and best practices.
  • Participate in in-house training and meetings as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree in a counseling-related field, or a Bachelor of Social Work degree with appropriate registration and counseling experience.
  • Registration/clinical membership with a regulatory college or body in your province of practice.
  • Three years of experience in counseling, social services, or addiction service settings.
  • Experience working in the EFAP field is an asset.
  • Professional liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000 or as otherwise determined by Homewood Health.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Written and verbal French language fluency is an asset.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).
