The successful candidate will be responsible for installing various types of flooring, including carpeting, hardwood, and resilient floor coverings. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation
    • Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
    • Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Flooring Installation
    • Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding
    • Measure, cut and install carpeting on floors
    • Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings
    • Prepare and install hardwood floors
    • Prepare floors for installations
  • Removal and Disposal
    • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
    • Install carpeting on walls or other surfaces
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
Working Conditions
  • This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces.
  • The successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times while working.
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a generous paid time off policy.
