Job Skills/Requirements

As a Mobile Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of safety and security within our organization. Your leadership and problem-solving skills will be key in ensuring smooth operations and efficient communication across sites.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the Mobile Field Supervisors by assisting with the training of new officers, fleet maintenance, and offering valuable site information.
  • Supervise and guide Officers, support special coverages, and ensure efficient branch operations after hours.
  • Respond to alarm & emergency dispatches, and respond to officers requiring assistance.
  • Ensure that all mobile security operations are organized, conducted appropriately, and that the policies and objectives of Paladin's management are carried out accordingly.
  • Perform daily duties, including checking emails, answering pressing issues, discussing events with previous shifts, and ensuring daily paperwork is completed.
  • Complete incident reports, shift pass-ons, Shift Hazard Assessments, and other safety and security incident documentation.
  • Assist with minor fleet maintenance and repairs, and notify any issues to the Mobile Field Supervisor or Manager.
  • Conduct site orientation and training of new officers, ensuring site orientation packages and officer review tests are completed within the allotted training period.
  • Attend unscheduled and scheduled meetings, cover shifts if necessary, and respond to all emergencies.
You're a Great Fit If
  • You have an unrestricted Class 5 Driver's License OR 7N Driver's License.
  • You can provide a 3-year Drivers Abstract.
  • You possess strong knowledge of Kamloops and the surrounding areas.
  • You are confident driving in a variety of road conditions.
  • You represent Paladin with professionalism and strong customer service skills.
  • You communicate effectively with clients, emergency personnel, and the public.
  • You can multitask, work under pressure, and make sound decisions in emergencies.
  • You follow written and verbal instructions, including writing comprehensive reports.
  • You maintain patrol records accurately.
  • You handle confidential information with a high degree of discretion.
