About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at United Foods Inc. O/A McDonald's Restaurant. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team members are working efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that team members are meeting their performance goals.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to maintain high standards.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and ensure that all customer interactions are positive and respectful.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Assembly and Supervision: Supervise and check assembly of trays, and ensure that all food is prepared and presented to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong attention to detail.
