Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Apprentice Electrician to join our diverse team on a commercial project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain good customer relations with site personnel and customers.
  • Comply with Company's corporate Health and Safety manual.
  • Adhere to the Company and the customers' policies and procedures as they apply to each project.
  • Ensure project safety policies are followed at all times.
  • Responsible for efficient use of materials, equipment, and performance of all field-related activities for each task/project.
  • Ensure field work is executed in compliance with instructions given.
  • Be able to take directions and be receptive to training and mentoring.
  • Apply yourself to learn and comprehend drawings and specifications.
  • Proficient tool usage, both personal and supplied.
  • Work with multiple types of installations.
  • Attend daily/weekly site meetings and all training required.
  • Maintain clean driving abstract and Drug and Alcohol clearance.
  • Maintain a professional image and a high level of service with customers and co-workers during all contact, displaying positive behavior, attitude, and workmanship habits in a respectful and empathetic way.
  • Follow the direction of your supervisor in the proper use of tools, materials, and techniques for most efficient electrical installations.

Requirements

  • Completion of Electrical Pre-Employment Course.
  • Current Fall Arrest and EWP Certificates.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull.
  • Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Clear and Maintain a clean driving and drug and alcohol clearance.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.35-$34.40 per hour
