IT Service Operations Associate, Data Delivery Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Service Operations Associate to join our Data Delivery team at S&P Global. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in maintaining, improving, and expanding our Data Delivery service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide technical consultancy for API integration and create bespoke file configurations to facilitate a market-leading customer experience through our onboarding process.
  2. Migrate bespoke client configurations from legacy systems to the Data Delivery platform and troubleshoot technical issues.
  3. Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate requirements into solutions.
  4. Create and maintain documentation and code samples to ensure seamless communication and knowledge sharing.
  5. Execute monthly KPI Reporting and generate operational metrics to inform business decisions.
  6. Assist in running the Agile process for prioritization, coordination, and planning, and signal and write specs for application issues.
  7. Drive process optimization and automation to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Data Science.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in FinTech, Information Technology, Finance, or Data, with expertise in RESTful API, JSON, XML, Python, SQL, Snowflake & GCP.
  • Excellent data analysis skills and understanding of software systems and development of enterprise applications.
  • Experience with troubleshooting software issues, Splunk, Azure DevOps, Salesforce, Pager Duty, MS Excel & Power BI.
  • Working experience with Agile/Scrum and expertise in problem solving, analyzing, and understanding client needs.
  • Fluent in English and strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
