Job Title: Loader Operator

We are seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our team at Colas Western Canada Inc. in Terus Construction. As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, loading materials, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a loader to load materials from stockpiles to trucks and other equipment.
  • Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate, and refill as necessary.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and other equipment.
  • Participate in the company's safety program and promote a positive and safe work environment.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs or more and work in extreme weather conditions.
  • First Aid and WHMIS certificates are considered an asset.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
