- Seasonal**Intended job posting audience**Seeking applicants for open Labourer positions with a Heavy Civil Construction company based in Whitehorse.

Multiple job locations available

Whitehorse, YT

Watson Lake, YT

Mayo, YT

Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum Class 5 drivers license
- Experience working in construction
- 18 years old minimum age
- Physically able to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and use basic hand tools such as shovels, rakes, brooms.
- Experience operating equipment such as skid steers, compaction equipment and power tools is an asset

Duties and Tasks
- Provide labour support for various civil construction projects including underground water/sewer/power installation, large site grading projects, and surface works including concrete, asphalt and landscaping.
- Operation of skid steer loaders and compaction equipment.
- Driving pickup trucks with trailers, loading and unloading material and equipment.
- Completion of job hazard assessments, pre trip inspections, and working safely in a team environment.

Training provided where needed for specific tasks.

First Aid Training, Confined Space, WHMIS, TDG training are significant assets for applicants.

Compensation will be based on experience.
