We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Dartmouth-Hitchcock. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse leader to utilize their expertise in managing patient assignments, providing oversight of direct patient care, and supporting staff development.
About the RoleThis Clinical Nurse Supervisor position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our inpatient care unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for assigning staff to patients, participating in performance management, addressing conflicts, and facilitating timely admissions and discharges.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, patients, and patient families. Additionally, they will have a solid understanding of nursing education and experience working in an acute care setting.
Key Qualifications- Nursing Expertise: Proven experience working as a registered nurse in an acute care setting.
- Leadership and Management: Demonstrated ability to manage patient assignments, lead teams, and make sound decisions.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Education and Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field, with specialty certification preferred.
- Licensure and Certification: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New Hampshire, with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
