Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor - Inventory Management
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Chevron Town Pantry. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, including inventory management, sales, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and ordering merchandise.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers, ensuring excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Authorize payments by cheque and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Participate in government or community programs that support persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees, and provide awareness training to employees.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in retail management or a related field.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
