Apprentice Lift Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Apprentice Lift Mechanic. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our ski lifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on ski lifts, including checking structures for cracks and rust, electrical and hydraulic components, and engines.
  • Assist in the repair and replacement of lift components, including cables and rockers.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Complete accurate and detailed reports on maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with senior technicians to develop and implement maintenance plans.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Interest in electricity, industrial mechanics, welding, and map reading.
  • Experience in a similar position is an asset.
