About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Lift Technician to join our team at Mont SUTTON. As an Apprentice Lift Technician, you will play a critical role in the maintenance, improvement, inspection, and repair of our ski lifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on ski lifts, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Work at heights and in cold temperatures, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Conduct routine inspections of ski lifts, including checking for cracks, rust, and electrical and hydraulic components.
  • Prepare and perform inspections of cables and other critical components.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of our ski lifts.
  • Complete accurate and detailed reports on maintenance and repair activities.
  • Read and interpret technical plans and diagrams.
  • Operate various machinery, including Bombardier, loaders, and ATVs.

Requirements
  • Interest in electricity, industrial mechanics, welding, and map reading.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working at heights and in cold temperatures.
  • Demonstrated judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Positive and proactive attitude.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
