About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at The Property Management. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Contractor Management: Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Safety and Security: Conduct regular safety and security checks to ensure a secure environment for our staff and visitors.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise other workers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of tasks.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of supplies, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for maintenance tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
