Adecco Canada is currently seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team on a temporary, full-time basis. Our client, a leading organization in the aerospace industry, requires an experienced professional to integrate aircraft systems, coordinate with suppliers, and prepare technical presentations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Systems Integration: Responsible for integrating aircraft systems, ensuring seamless coordination with other systems.
  • Technical Presentations: Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers, including coordination of supplier input.
  • Supplier Coordination: Coordinate the review of supplier technical documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Test and Development: Participate in test and development activities, including integrated testing of aircraft systems as required.
  • Certification Documentation: Prepare and review certification documentation for the landing gear system, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Design and Review: Drive the detailed definition and review of designs, specifications, and documentation for the landing gear subsystems and aircraft interface.
  • Customer and Supplier Liaison: Liaise with external customers and suppliers, as well as internal communications departments.
  • Test Criteria: Define and review test criteria for electrical control systems, ensuring compliance with industry guidelines (RTCA DO-160 and DO-178, DO-254).
  • Trade Studies: Conduct trade studies to establish preferred systems architecture based on safety performance and aircraft level requirements.
  • Test Instrumentation: Specify and integrate test instrumentation.
  • Active Participation: Participate actively in test and development activities.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Eligibility: Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada.
  • Aerospace Engineering Background: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in aerospace engineering.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Electrical, Engineering Physics, or Engineering Science).
  • Landing Gear Mechanics: Familiarity with landing gear mechanics, including actuators, uplocks, and downlocks.
  • ARINC 653: Familiarity with ARINC 653.
  • Integrated Modular Avionics: Familiarity with Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) platforms.
  • Software Experience: Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and DOORS requirements management software.
  • Safety and Reliability: Understanding and ability to apply safety, reliability, and maintainability concepts.
  • Aerospace Standards: Strong knowledge of applicable aerospace standards and airworthiness requirements, including DO-178, DO-254, ARP-4754, and ARP-4761.
  • Control Systems: Expert-level knowledge of use and application of RTCA DO-160 for control systems.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
