Job Opportunity Summary:

The Kitchen Cashier provides exceptional customer service and cash handling in a fast-paced retail store environment at Tony's Fresh Market.

Key Responsibilities:

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include:

  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience
  • Handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Assisting cooks with food preparation and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Filling and restocking front counter utensils, water sanitizer, vegetables, and drinks
  • Following procedures for voids, refunds, transaction cancellation, and saved recall transactions
  • Responsible for personal Cashier Productivity and meeting customer service standards

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Valid Food Handlers Card
  • Customer service and retail experience desirable

Working Conditions:

The physical demands and work conditions below represent those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

  • Walking: Continuously, throughout shift, while moving about the store and handling merchandise
  • Standing: Continuously, throughout shift
  • Lifting: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
