Automotive Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Automotive Technician to join our team at Lexus of Vaughan, part of Zanchin Automotive Group.
As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repair on customer and dealership vehicles, while developing your practical skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing basic vehicle care and maintenance, including oil change, lubrication work, filter replacement, and tire rotation/replacement
- Communicating with the Service Advisor and Shop Foreman to provide updates regarding the vehicle
- Documenting all vehicle repair and maintenance performed, on the repair order
- Road testing vehicles, as required
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background and proven experience performing vehicle maintenance, including:
- 1 to 3 years proven experience as a Lube/Tire Technician
- Post Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
- Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Driver's License and clean Driver's Abstract
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
- Strong attention to detail, organized and strategic
- Ability to maintain professionalism
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
- Desire to work in a high energy, fast-paced environment
- Proven commitment to quality of work
