About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Wendy's Restaurant. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that our high standards are met.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customer complaints or concerns, and maintain a positive and welcoming environment for all customers.
  • Operations: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports to management, including sales data, inventory levels, and other key performance indicators.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures is essential.
  • Language: Fluency in French is required, as this role will involve communicating with staff and customers in this language.
  • Work Environment: This role will be based in a fast-paced food service environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
