About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Manager, Data Science, to spearhead our data science team in designing, developing, and applying cutting-edge Machine Learning models. As a key member of our organization, you will collaborate with partners across the company to develop our AI vision, identify and prioritize AI use cases, and implement innovative solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a multidisciplinary team in designing, developing, and applying Machine Learning models (pricing, telematics program, fraud, process automation, etc.).
  • Help build the industry's best data science team by keeping our specialists motivated and engaged in an agile environment and helping them grow their careers.
  • Collaborate with partners across the company to develop our AI vision, identify and prioritize AI use cases, and implement solutions.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of five years' professional experience in an analytical and innovative environment, including at least two years in management or coaching. A data science enthusiast with a background in a related field, such as Machine learning, Computer science, Software engineering, Physics, Actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, is essential. Additionally, you must have a strong understanding of underlying Machine Learning theory and the Predictive Modeling Lifecycle. Previous experience in insurance or finance is an asset. Strong communication, time management, and work organization skills are also required. Bilingualism in French and English is necessary to interact with colleagues across the country.
