Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at CRP Education Limited DBA CEFA Fleetwood. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers with care and attention to their needs.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts to promote their cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations.
  • Dependability.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills.
  • Team player.
  • Values and ethics.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a child care centre with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The hours of work are 35 to 40 hours per week.
