Job Title: Food Counter Attendants

At Immigrate, we are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food Counter Attendant to join our team. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take customers' orders accurately and efficiently
  • Receive payment for food items purchased and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Serve customers at counters or drive-through, ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere
  • Portion, assemble, and wrap food or place it directly on plates for service to patrons, and package take-out food safely
  • Use equipment to prepare hot beverages, such as coffee and tea specialties, and package them safely for take-out
  • Clear and clean tables and trays in eating establishments, and bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and in serving areas, and sweep and mop floors as needed
  • Remove dishes before and after courses, and dispose of trash or recycling
  • Use deep fryer, grill, oven, dispensers, and other equipment to prepare fast food items, such as sandwiches, hamburgers, fries, smoothies, milkshakes, and other beverages
  • Perform other duties as required to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience
Requirements:
  • Punctuality and ability to work as a team
  • Standing for long periods and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Shift work, evenings, and weekends required
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to upsell
  • Attention to detail and accuracy for orders
  • Patient and able to work well under pressure
  • Ability to count money well and balance the till
