Job Title: Benefits and Pension Plan Officer

At Tabor Village, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Benefits and Pension Plan Officer to join our team. As a key member of our human resources department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth administration of our benefits and pension plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and process payroll and benefits statements for employees, including gross and net salaries, deductions, and insurance and pension plans.
  • Store, update, and retrieve financial data, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing systems and performing human resources-related tasks.
  • Prepare monthly statements and complete and submit documentation for the administration of benefits, including pension plans, leaves, share savings, employment, and medical insurance.
  • Inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans, ensuring they are aware of their entitlements and obligations.
  • Compile statistics and reports to evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury.
  • Maintain payroll and records of employee attendance, leave, and overtime to calculate pay and benefit entitlements.
  • Prepare T4 statements and other statements, as required.
  • Perform data entry and other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Computer and technology knowledge, including human resources software, MS Excel, and MS Windows.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
