Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Performance: Deliver quality and improvement to meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales growth, customer satisfaction, and store profitability.
  • Leadership and Development: Support the store manager in diagnosing business opportunities and leveraging synergies between retail, lab, and doctor to drive positive results.
  • Team Management: Partner with the store manager to lead a team through strong knowledge and skills, providing training and guidance to team members.
  • Customer Experience: Strive to maintain positive working relationships with doctors and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Store Operations: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, maintain a safe working environment, and work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • License: Current and valid state Opticianry license.
  • Experience: 1+ year(s) management/supervisory experience with direct reports.
  • Skills: Strong basic math skills, familiarity with cash register, computers, and calculators, and a strong command of the English language.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: College degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in leadership positions within retail and customer service industries.
  • Skills: Knowledge of basic optics, current store merchandise, and state licensure (if applicable) and/or ABO Certification in non-licensed states.
