Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Journalist to join our Editorial Department. As a Journalist, you will be responsible for reporting and writing authoritatively on breaking news, providing perspective and analysis, and collaborating with colleagues to produce engaging stories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report and write on breaking news, with a focus on accuracy, comprehensiveness, and compelling storytelling

Requirements

  • Professional experience as a reporter, with a proven track record of covering breaking news and crime
  • Excellent news judgment, storytelling, and multimedia skills
  • Advanced writing skills and story-telling ability, with a focus on creating engaging daily content
  • A self-starter with flexibility and the ability to generate quality story ideas
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
  • Relentlessly high standards, with attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and clarity
  • Diplomacy and well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and sources
  • Familiarity with access to information procedures and databases
  • Well-versed in CP style

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $56,360 to $93,862, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
