Custodian Assistant

We are seeking a part-time School Custodian I to join our dedicated team of support staff at Rosemary School. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of custodial tasks and maintenance duties to ensure a clean and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.

• Perform basic custodial functions, including cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining washrooms, meeting rooms, offices, locker rooms, and gyms.
• Replenish lavatory supplies, remove trash, and empty waste baskets.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, and buff floors.
• Clean windows, walls, and light fixtures.
• Dust and perform other tasks as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in the custodial field is an asset, but not necessary.
• Ability to read chemical labels and follow safety protocols.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing, balancing, and lifting.
• Ability to work in crowded and loud environments.
• Ability to conduct oneself in a responsible and respectful manner while working in and around a school environment.
