We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Hand to join our Mixing Department at Baxter. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving process improvement initiatives, leading 6S initiatives, and working with cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and implement improvements to cycle times, production sequences, and material flow to ensure the department has the capacity to meet supply chain demands.
- Coach area members on process ownership, standard ways of working, and sustainable process improvement.
- Evaluate and recommend technical support for the selection, installation, and qualification of processing equipment.
- Support area initiatives to ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
- Monitor team member and machine activities to ensure efficient production of quality products.
- Hands-on equipment and process troubleshooting, repair, and improvement.
- High School diploma or GED in a relevant field (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, Electronics).
- Manufacturing/Quality/Continuous Improvement experience in a GMP environment.
- 3-6 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
