Seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our growing financial advisory firm in Western Canada. As a Senior Financial Strategist, you will provide comprehensive financial advisory services with a focus on tax preparation and tax planning.

Create and update long-term financial strategies and plans, actively manage and rebalance client portfolios in alignment with their financial goals, and maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Promote financial literacy and expand the firm's presence through engaging as a speaker at seminars and community events. Collaborate in a collaborative and inclusive environment emphasizing growth and partnership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive financial advisory services with a focus on tax preparation and tax planning
  • Create and update long-term financial strategies and plans
  • Actively manage and rebalance client portfolios in alignment with their financial goals
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards and fulfill all regulatory requirements
  • Engage as a speaker at seminars and community events to promote financial literacy and expand the firm's presence

Requirements:

  • CIRO license (Funds and/or Securities licensed)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation with a proven track record in managing a book of business of $20M+
  • 10+ years' experience in insurance and a demonstrated ability to generate new insurance business
  • Strong corporate and personal tax knowledge, with the ability to produce and present Know Your Product (KYP) information to clients
  • Experience in proactive planning and problem-solving, with a focus on high-net-worth clients

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year based on location and experience.
