Key Responsibilities- Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
- Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves and cleaning the counter area.
- Provide Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide a positive shopping experience.
- Train Staff: Assist in training new staff members on cash handling procedures and store policies.
- Perform Data Entry: Accurately enter sales data and other relevant information into our system.
- Prepare Merchandise for Purchase: Ensure that merchandise is properly displayed and prepared for sale.
- Assist in Display of Merchandise: Assist in the display of merchandise to create an attractive and inviting store environment.
- Accept Payments: Accurately process payments and handle cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Work Site Environment: Air-conditioned and clean environment.
- Work Setting: Retail business in a rural area with on-site customer service.
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check and reference required.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, attention to detail, and ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, excellent oral communication, reliability, client focus, judgement, punctuality, adaptability, efficiency, hardworking, integrity, positive attitude, proactive, time management, and honesty.
- Experience: Experience is an asset.
- Duration of Employment: Permanent.
- Language of Work: English.
- Hours of Work: 40 hours per week.
