For this position, we estimate the salary to be around $85,000 per year.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Support Specialist to provide advanced administration support to our Senior Vice President, Chief Legal and Governance Officer. The successful candidate will exercise good judgment, maintain confidentiality, and ensure a professional representation of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the SVP's calendar by scheduling and prioritizing meetings, handling potential conflicts, and monitoring upcoming deadlines.
- Interact with senior external stakeholders, including board members, professional association senior members, and internal executive leadership team members.
- Provide direction to direct reports to ensure deadlines are met when gathering data for SVP documents and reports.
- Provide backup to other Senior EAs.
- Meet regularly with the Senior EA team to build rapport, solve problems, and continuously improve service delivery to the SVP.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and ensure expense submissions are within guidelines and policies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior executive support role.
- Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary experience is considered a strong asset.
- Strong general computer skills with basic IT troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong MS Office skills, including MS Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and assignments at once, reprioritizing where necessary.
- Familiarity with the Property & Casualty insurance industry would be considered an asset.
