Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Ironworker to join our team at YOUNG BOY DRYWALL LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for erecting and installing scaffolding and steel structures, aligning and welding steel units, and positioning and securing steel bars and metal mesh in concrete forms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Erect and install scaffolding and other working platforms
  • Align, weld, or bolt units in place
  • Position and secure steel bars or metal mesh in concrete forms
  • Unload and position steel units for hoisting
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Work Environment

The Ironworker will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads and working in physically demanding conditions. The successful candidate must be able to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and have manual dexterity.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Steel-toed safety boots
