Job DescriptionAs a driving instructor at Western Driving School, you will be responsible for teaching students how to operate vehicles safely and efficiently. Your primary duties will include:
Teaching Methods- Demonstrate and explain the safe handling and operation of motor vehicles
- Instruct individuals on proper motor vehicle driving skills and traffic regulations
- Supervise individuals during practice driving sessions
You will also be expected to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, providing excellent customer service to our students and their families.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be considered for this position, you must possess:
Certifications and Licenses- A valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent
- Previous experience in a related field is an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
- Familiarity with database software
