The Government of Canada - Atlantic is seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to fill the role of Strategic Academic Leader. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership in the development and implementation of academic programs.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in leading academic initiatives and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve common goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction and leadership in the development and implementation of academic programs
• Collaborate with academic teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for enhancement
• Lead the evaluation and assessment of academic programs to ensure alignment with government standards and regulations
• Develop and maintain relationships with government regulatory and licensing agencies to ensure compliance with provincial standards
• Provide advice and counsel to senior leaders on academic matters
• Promote academic programs and activities through effective communication and marketing strategies

Requirements:

• Masters or doctoral degree in a relevant field
• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in academia
• Proven track record of success in leading academic initiatives and collaborating with stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of government regulations and standards related to education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
