Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to fill the role of General Construction Labourer at Folded Architectural Finishes.

Duties and Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be versatile and able to perform a variety of tasks in construction and maintenance settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

The successful candidate will assist in various projects, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to high standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating Equipment Safely: The successful candidate will operate equipment safely and effectively as required for specific tasks.
  • Carpentry Tasks: Perform carpentry tasks including framing, installation of drywall, and exterior sheathing.
  • Assisting with Cleaning Tasks: Assist with cleaning tasks, including installation and repairs.
  • Laying Out Walls: Engage in laying out of walls as per plans.
  • Restoring Structures: Restore structures by repairing or replacing damaged materials.
  • Maintaining a Clean Work Environment: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly after use.
Requirements and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are preferred but not mandatory:

  • Carpentry Techniques: Candidates should possess experience or skills in carpentry techniques and practices.
  • Lifting Equipment Operation: Familiarity with lifting equipment operation for construction purposes.
  • Basic Construction Knowledge: Basic knowledge of construction principles, including measuring and using hand tools.
  • Familiarity with Power Tools: Familiarity with power tools used in construction projects.
