Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Il Forno Fusion Canmore. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve food to customers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the food counter and surrounding areas.
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure seamless service.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve excellent customer satisfaction and restaurant efficiency.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relocation costs covered by employer.

Work Setting:

Tasks:

  • Keep records of the quantities of food used.
  • Package take-out food.
  • Portion and wrap foods.
  • Prepare, heat and finish simple food items.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
