Restaurant Operations Supervisor Job Summary

At Dhabba on the Falls, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained and supplies are ordered in a timely manner.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and kitchen policies and procedures.
  • Estimate Ingredient and Supplies: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that orders are placed in a timely manner.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that accurate and up-to-date records are kept.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • 1-7 Months Experience: 1-7 months of experience in a related field is required.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Culinary Genres: Knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres is required.
Working Conditions:

This role will require working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure. A criminal record check is also required.
