About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Aerospace Engineer to join our team at Bombardier. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and recommendations to resolve material and structural issues identified during production or in-service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve material and structural issues
  • Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities, providing technical guidance and recommendations
  • Analyze stress reports, non-conformities, and deviations, proposing effective solutions to maintain airworthiness
  • Work closely with Design Assurance Documents (DADs) to ensure compliance with safety standards
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in stress analysis for aircraft structures
  • Proficiency in Finite Element Methods (FEM) software (such as Nastran, Abaqus, or Ansys)
  • Familiarity with aviation regulations (FAA, EASA, Transport Canada)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
