We are a leading technology company in the automotive industry, and we're seeking a skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest level of quality in our software products. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and execute automated testing solutions using various tools and technologies.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in testing activities to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Identify and report defects, verify fixes, and work with developers to resolve issues.
  • Provide task estimates for quality assurance efforts on assigned projects.
  • Establish cooperative relationships with colleagues to work efficiently.
  • Create detailed test plans and cases.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts.
  • Track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and strategies.

Your Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of QA experience.
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL, scripting, JSON, and XML.
  • Working with batch file processing projects is an asset.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
