About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to lead our certification efforts and design electrical systems for our industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and technical background, with experience in electrical engineering and manufacturing processes.
Main Responsibilities- Lead certification efforts with regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with applicable electrical codes and standards.
- Design wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions for assembling electronics units, applying knowledge of electronic theory and components.
- Review and create electrical engineering plans to ensure adherence to design specifications and compliance with applicable electrical codes and standards.
- Select electronics equipment, components, or systems to meet functional specifications.
- Design electrical control systems, industrial automation systems, or electrical equipment, including control circuits, variable speed drives, or programmable logic controllers.
- Compile and maintain records documenting engineering schematics, installed equipment, installation or operational problems, resources used, repairs, or corrective action performed.
- Calculate design specifications or cost, material, and resource estimates, and prepare project schedules and budgets.
- Collaborate with the design team for improvements to existing and new products, manufacturing lines, and automation.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in General, Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Process Engineering.
- Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes, including control methods and automation.
- Knowledge and understanding of robotics, mechatronics, and automation of manufacturing processes and systems.
- Technical writing skills for manufacturing documents, including PFMEA, Process Flow, Control Plan, Work Instructions, and Checklists.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of small engine components, including mechanical and electrical aspects.
- Software experience, including SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
