At Peak North America, we are seeking a highly experienced Lead Forestry Operations Manager to oversee and drive the success of our operations in the Southern United States.

Job Description

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of facility operations, including production planning, resource management, quality control, employee management, and safety protocols.

You will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our facilities, optimizing operational performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee production planning, resource allocation, and quality control to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational performance, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Manage employee relations, training, and development to foster a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to integrate fabrication, construction, machinery, and plant design solutions into forest industry operations.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in the forest/sawmill industry, with a proven track record of successfully managing operations and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Strong technical knowledge of sawmill equipment, processes, and industry best practices acquired through hands-on experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, including integrity, resilience, and a passion for driving continuous improvement.
  • Ability to relocate to the Southern USA and travel as needed.
