We are looking for a seasoned Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Moxies. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service and high-quality food production.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing front-of-house and back-of-house teams, with a focus on maintaining high standards of food safety and quality control. You will work closely with our chefs to develop menus, manage inventory, and implement cost-saving initiatives. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring sales trends, analyzing data, and providing actionable insights to drive business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring seamless execution of daily tasks.
  • Operations: Establish methods to meet work schedules, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining a positive dining experience.
  • Maintenance: Oversee maintenance of equipment, facilities, and grounds to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop new menu items, promotions, and specials that align with our brand vision.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, monitor waste, and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize profitability.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required; post-secondary education an asset.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a senior role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to lead and motivate a team, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
