We are seeking a Food and Beverage Operations Director to lead our food services team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing food and beverage operations, including staff supervision, budgeting, and menu planning.

About the Role
  • Salary: $1,200,000 per year
  • Location: Canada

This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will be required to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
  2. Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  3. Conduct performance reviews for staff members
  4. Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  5. Organize and maintain inventory
  6. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed

Requirements
  • Certifications: Food and beverage server trade certification and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Computer Skills: MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, physically demanding, standing for extended periods, overtime required
