Product Engineer Position

At FPS Food Process Solutions Corp., we are seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer to join our team. As a Product Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support for product marketing activities, identifying opportunities for customized or improved products, and executing prototype testing to ensure the performance of newly developed products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for product marketing activities to identify opportunities for customized or improved products and budgetary estimates of engineering, material, and labor costs.
  • Execute prototype testing in the lab and onsite to ensure the performance of the newly developed product.
  • Provide field service to customers when special customer/product knowledge is required and site troubleshooting for the products.
  • Resolve any product design issues with manufacturing and improve product design based on application, customer feedback, and site operation.
  • Standardize the existing product line, analyze the product lifecycle, and be involved in the new product development plan.
  • Travel to customer sites as needed to support sales or demonstrate product technology features.
  • Comply with all applicable standards, including internal design engineering standards and industrial standards.
  • Keep up to date with new technology that may apply to new projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in HVAC-R.
  • Able to travel to domestic and international job sites.
  • Detailed-oriented, strong analytical, mathematical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of using AutoCAD and 3D modelling (Inventor/Solidworks) software.
