Job Title: Restaurant Assistant Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Tim Horton's. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
- Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure the best possible prices and quality.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Team Leadership: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring that all team members are working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Supervision: 5-10 people.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, and overtime required.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, organized, and reliability.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster and support them with foreign credential recognition.
- Support for Youths: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.
- Support for Indigenous People: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
