Job Summary:

The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff. This includes sweeping, mopping, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs, as well as emptying trash cans and other waste containers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
Work Environment:

The Janitor will work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. The ability to work under pressure and perform repetitive tasks is essential.

Physical Demands:
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) weight handling
Language:

The primary language of work is English.
