Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Fresh Form Draft. As a Cashier, you will play a key role in providing a positive shopping experience for our clients. You will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet clients warmly and answer questions or assist with any inquiries. Provide prompt, courteous service while maintaining a positive attitude. Address client complaints or concerns, escalating when necessary.
  • Transaction Processing: Operate cash registers, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and other payment terminals efficiently. Accurately handle cash, credit, debit, and other forms of payment. Ensure accurate pricing and product scanning. Issue receipts, refunds, and change as necessary.
  • Cash Handling: Balance the cash drawer by counting cash at the beginning and end of shifts. Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions accurately and securely. Follow company policies on voids, returns, and exchanges.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all company policies regarding cash handling, security, and theft prevention. Maintain knowledge of company promotions, coupons, and loyalty programs.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
  • Basic math skills for calculating totals and handling cash.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
