About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at Delhi Delight. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Process Payments: Tabulate total payment for goods or services, receive payment, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Monitor Entrances and Exits: Ensure all customers have proof of payment and maintain accurate records.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Familiarity with electronic cash registers, Interac machines, and computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, reliability, dependability, maturity, and a strong work ethic.
