We are seeking a skilled painter to join our team at Immigrate, working on residential and commercial projects in Kelowna.
Estimated Salary: $45-$60 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Job DescriptionAs a painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to the desired color and texture, and applying paint by brush or roller.
You will also be required to measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging. Additionally, you will work at heights, use ladders, lifts, and ensure a safe working environment.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential and commercial painting, with skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, job task planning, and organizing. They must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Able to work in various locations in Kelowna
- Fall arrest training and first aid an asset
- Valid driver's license and vehicle
- Ability to find own accommodations
