Job Overview

A highly skilled and motivated Global Cloud Infrastructure Specialist is sought by the Partner Reinsurance Company to join our team in Toronto, Canada. This dynamic role offers a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of cloud-based projects, collaborating with international teams and driving innovation in infrastructure design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and evolving the company's cloud infrastructure, ensuring stability, efficiency, and scalability across global regions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and improving the Microsoft Azure environment, including designing and implementing Azure native solutions.
  • Providing production server engineering and operational support in a global environment, predominately Windows with exposure to various flavors of Linux.
  • Creating and maintaining scripts using toolsets/languages such as PowerShell, YAML, KQL, bash, JSON, Ansible, and automating manual processes to create efficiencies in the standard operating environment.
  • Deploying infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as a code technology (Terraform) and demonstrating strong time management and prioritization skills within a dynamic environment.
Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud offerings in a system engineering and operations capacity.
  • Prior experience deploying infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as a code technology (Terraform).
  • Ability to demonstrate strong time management and prioritization skills within a dynamic environment.
  • Strong ability to create and maintain scripts, utilizing toolsets/languages such as PowerShell, YAML, KQL, bash, JSON, Ansible.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to both technical and non-technical audiences.
