As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a safe and efficient operation, and adhering to company policies and standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through maintaining a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company policies and procedures, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Perform all aspects of bakery sales functions, including operating bakery equipment, preparing bakery products, and maintaining display presentation and stock levels.
  • Handle merchandise, ensuring quality, minimizing damages and markdowns, and providing substitutions and price integrity.
  • Perform general clean-up duties, including cleaning spills and display fixtures, and maintaining a neat and organized store environment.

Requirements:

  • Grade 9 or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Previous bakery retail experience.
  • Must be fluent in English (CLBA-Canadian Language Benchmark Assessment score of 5 or higher).

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Previous cash handling, banking, or related retail experience.
  • Basic Word, Excel, and Outlook skills.
