Job Title: Architectural Technician

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technician to join our team at BATTAGLIA ARCHITECT INC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing proposals, analyzing technical documents and reports, tendering contracts, and supervising architectural technical staff. They will also be involved in preparing working drawings, writing specifications, monitoring and inspecting work, estimating costs and materials, and constructing architectural and display models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word
  • Area of Work Experience: Design, Commercial and/or industrial construction, Renovation, Residential construction
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Sitting, manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination, ability to distinguish between colours
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, initiative, organized, team player, punctuality
