About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Engineer to join our team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing fire protection and life safety systems for various projects in the public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and site review of fire protection and life safety systems
  • Assist with the preparation of engineering drawings and specifications
  • Coordinate with project teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Communicate engineering design concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Requirements
  • Related Bachelor of Engineering degree or Engineering Technology diploma
  • 3-5 years of experience in fire protection and life safety
  • Knowledge of REVIT and AutoCAD
  • Basic knowledge of NFPA, FM Global, Building and Fire Code Standards
